i'm back!

hey there! it's been a while since my last post.  we had a wonderful easter vacation up at the cabin with my parents.  the kids really enjoyed the trip and so did we.  since then i've been very busy with my children's upcoming birthday party.  i'm really looking forward to sharing in their special day.  ella just turned 4 at the beginning of the month while tommy will be turning 2 at the end.  so with that been said, a birthday party in the middle of may works out perfectly.  i will post some pics of the invites soon!

The 6 Snacks You Should Eat Every Day

The 6 Snacks You Should Eat Every Day

watching the clock...

for a much needed vacation!  :-)
we're headed up to my parents lake house in the adirondack mountains.  even though this is a winter pic, if gives you an idea of where we spend our family vacations.
this has been a place that i have cherished going to since i was a little girl.  it brings back great memories of family time and now i get to share that with my little ones!  plus an added bonus ...the easter bunny visits this weekend!

help me change it up...please :)...

here are some pics of my home (on a normal day with the family).  so please excuse the clutter, sippy cups, husband's office mess (in my dining room...yes...grateful that he's able to work from home but oh do we need an office space for him!).
please please help me....it all needs some spicing up.

this above is my living room/dining room.  it's an odd shape and i never know what to do.

here's the stairway/foyer....
under those ugly carpets you'll find beautiful hardwood floors that just need to be refinished...

Chris love...

stick family...

does anyone else think those "stick figures" on the backs of cars/vans/suvs are annoying/funny/corny, etc. etc.?  haha....i do.
so when i was coming out of an exciting workshop on education...cough cough...i happened across this stick family and it cracked me up!  love it!
(sorry to those of you who have stick families on the back of your transportation...)
